Welcome HART - Helping Autistics Realize Themselves

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

This site will present our organization's cause or ideas to the world. As communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message (remember, a well-chosen picture is a great way to get a point across). We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures.

On this home page, we'll introduce our cause or message. We'll also try to include a picture or two that represents the kind of work we do.

Please sign our guestbook to offer comments and join our mailing list.

Mission Statement

HART - Helping Autistics Realize Themselves is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping show the world that autism is not a crippling disease nor is it mental retardation. We cooperate with hundreds of other organizations committed to helping autistic people from around the world so as to help non-autistic men and women and of good to reach out and share their trust with their hurting brothers and sisters. Working together with professional and lay supporters, our goal for this decade is to give every autistic man, woman, and child in the entire world an opportunity in new life and self-fulfillment.
The path for sulf-fulfillment is paved by at least four important rights which have to be acknowledged by all who really want to help.
The right to communicate facilitated communication should be made available to all autistic people.
Vocational training and counseling to find the individual path for each autistic person to realize their true self.
Individual medical and citamin therapy to enable each autistic to function as close to normal as possible.
Help intervention to keep autistic individuals out of institutions and home with their families if possible.
The ultimate goal for the autistic person is to live in an enlightened society that will give them the respect they deserve. This can only be attained through education and understanding.
Our desire is to serve you. As you are on the internet please let us know about your desire to learn more about autism and the power of self-belief and trust by contacting us.
